my plans for summer and fall

         

          OMG, I can’t believe that this semester is almost over.  Although it was hard for me and I got home sick, but it’s fine.  This semester I met many new friends and had fun a lot, that’s why I am sad to get away from them.  I am not going to take any classes in summer because my brain is tired so I decided to give him a rest.  Also, I have already got the score in the Ielts that enables me to be accepted in the university.

          My summer holiday will be so full of exiting activities.  First I am going to return to Kuwait on Thursday.  I am so excited to see my family again. I really missed them a lot.  Since I finished all my final exams this week, I am going to look for some gifts for them.  In Kuwait I am going to enjoy the sunny weather on the beach to get tanned a little bet.  Also I told my mother to cook for me all kind of our traditional dishes which I really miss.  Moreover, I am going to attend my cousin’s wedding, which I am sure that it will be so much fun.  The best part is that I am going to be spoiled by the whole family since I had been 4 months since the last time they saw me.

          When I come back to the US, I am going to start the fall semester at CSUF.  I am going to major in civil engineering.  Let’s hope that it will be easy. Also, I am going to move out of my current apartment because I do not like it so much.  The apartment that I am moving in to it is in Anaheim. It is so big and the complex is great. 

         

my spring break

My spring break was super fun.  I went to San Francisco with my cousins.  we stayed there for 5 days.  we visited the China Town which was really great and big.  We also tried Thai food for the first time and it was good.  On the other day went to the aquarium of the bay.  it was a great experience.  The most fun thing was touching the baby shark. Actually i didn't know that i am brave enough to touch a shark ,even if it was a baby one!! i enjoyed watching the sea lions.  on the last days of the break i relaxed and did my laundry and my homework. it was the best break ever. 

my dream job

since i was a little kid, the other kids always come to me and told about there problems, and i lesten to them carefully and givge them suggesions.  this habbet grew with me . I  would like to be a psychiatrist. it is really my dream job. i would love to listen to other people's problems and essues and make them feel better.  i have always emagine my self wearind the white cout setting on my big office waiting for my next patient to come in.  after that i ask hem to lye on the long chir and to start telling his story when he feels comfortable.  the reason why i didnt choose to study is that i am leaving in a society that considere a person who visit a psychaitrist is mentally ill.

my super power

if i could have a super power, i would choose the power of making people stop talking whenever i want.  i chose this power because many people talk and talk with out realising that they are not allowed to say things like that.  the other reason is that some people judge you and talke about something that they dont know ant thing about, which really bothers me.  if i have this power, i would take their voices away, and they will talk and talk with themselves without hearting anyones feelings.

My name is Mariam Dashti.  I am from Kuwait.  I'm 18 years old, which means i have just graduated from high school.  I came to the US as soon as i graduated.  I came here to study engeneering, but now i am studying at the ALP to emprove my english and to be ready for the acadimic studies.  I like to read novels and watch TV in my free time. I also love shopping. I think that is all.

the soldier and the princess

While the poor soldier is on prison, the princes could not stand the thought that the man who had stolen her heart is going to be eaten by a lion or is going to marry someone else. When her father, the king, went to sleep, she sneaked out of the castle to find a solution. She sat on the big garden praying for god to inspire her solution to get the man she loves. After hours of crying and thinking, she finally had an idea. She went to the man who worked for the king to steal the keys of t6he two doors that are on the top of the hill. While she was looking in the room, the mad woke up and looked at her. She was really scared. She asked the man to give her the keys, but he refused. When she started to cry, the man could not resist her beauty, so he agreed to give her the keys on one condition, which is never tell anyone that he gave her the keys, and ofcource she agreed.as soon as she put the keys in her pockets, She went to the kitchen and took the biggest knife and other equipment’s that she would need. After that, she went to the small hill and climbed all the way up. Then she opened one of the doors and made a big hole between the two rooms, so the two rooms are connected know. When she came back to the castle, she told the man what she did and gave them the keys. She also told them to act that there is nothing wrong when he put the woman and the lion tomorrow. When the sun shined, all people were sitting near the hill. The mean kind came with his men. When they brought the handsome soldier, who was looking at her eyes all the time, she looked at him as she was saying don’t worry. When the poor soldier stood in front of the two doors, the prince was smiling, he chose the one on the right. The eking was laughing because he knew that the lion was in this door. But when he opened the door, the lion didn’t attack him because it was not hungry. When the man put him in the room, he went through the hole and ate the women. Everyone was shocked. At the end of the day, the handsome soldier married the princes and lived happily ever after.
